Since Britney Spears’ conservatorship court hearing on June 23, many celebrities have shown their support for the #FreeBritney movement. On July 4, Miley Cyrus performed at the Resorts World Casino in Las Vegas and demonstrated her solidarity with Spears by changing up the lyrics to one of her biggest hits, “Party in the USA.” “That’s when the taxi driver turned on the radio. He turned to me and said, ‘Free Britney!'” Cyrus chanted into the microphone, inciting a rally cry from the crowd of concertgoers. “We love JAY-Z, but we gotta free this b*tch! It’s stressing me the f*ck out!”

Less than a week after Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Brenda Penny denied Spears’ request to have her father, Jamie Spears, removed as her co-conservator, Miley Cyrus gave a shout-out to Spears during a recent performance. This isn’t the first time Cyrus has shown support for Spears, as she previously shouted “Free Britney!” during another performance in 2019. The cheers and support from celebrities like Christina Aguilera and the crowd itself are a testament to the dedicated group of supporters that Spears has on her side.
